Question Cleaning Injectors

ok so i was doing my injector swap and got to thinking about the stockers. i noticed they only had 100,000 miles on them since the last time the dealership changed them and the pump on the recall, so my question is

how often should these just be pulled and cleaned with a wire brush, i mean the tips had chunks of carbon on them, i cleaned them ( i had no core charge) and was wandering how much of a problem could this be, i mean i couldnt even see the holes

no reason you couldnt clean them, probably be a good idea to have them pop tested too.....
