Default DNR Customs TPS delete

So the TPS in the new 92 is junk, i set it and within a week its out. Looking at the delete kit from DNR. In my research it seems like it wont downshift on its own when you punch the throttle when in OD. Is this true? If it is I'm not sure if I'll like that or not... does it bother anyone else not getting that down shift if you roll in the throttle?

It depends on where you have it set. Mine downshifts with it installed.

Both of the first gens that I have had will not downshift if you are running over 50 or 55 anyways so I dont think it really matters.

Bobby, I don't know if DNR, (can't remember his name! ) is a member on here, but he is over on DTR. Hop over there and PM him, I'm sure he'll be able to tell you.

My '93 always down shifted and I didn't lose my cruise, IMO the only thing that needed changed was the wires needed to be ~1' longer but that was due to how I ran the wires.

On all the feedback I've gotten and the various trucks I have installed them on you do loose kickdown. But, the benefits usally outway that one downside. On most trucks they are kicking into O.d at 38Mph and usally if you matt it at 50 or 55 the motor will pull you where you dont need kickdown. But, if you do. Hit the o.d button!!

now I am putting a 95 ppumped 4BTA into a 99 durango. the 4b does not have provisions for TPS. the durango wants to see TPS.

will this kit allow me to forget about fabbing up/ buying and modding a 12v'r TPS, or do you still need the bracket and goodies attached to the pump.
