Wheel bearings went out
Last night I was rotating my tires and noticed both front wheel bearings are shot. How do I get the two nuts off that hold the hub on? There about 2 1/2 inches and I haven't got a socket big or deep enough. Is there some sort of special tool? Thanks
Well there is two ways. Either go to your parts store and ask for the special thin wall socket that is disigned for that or use a hammer and a chisle. The hammer method does work but it will peel the edge of the nut over and make it difficult to use the socket in the future. I would get the socket.
