How would I know if my turbocharger is bad? Test procedures? Symptoms?

I am blowing a lot of blue smoke ever since I installed an Air Dog fuel pump that I have had nothing but problems with since I bought but that is a different story...can't seem to get answers on any questions for that.

I don't know if the fuel pressure is correct because the fittings are so large on the Air Dog you can't remove the plug to install a gauge or tester so have no idea where I am at there. I don't know where else I can install a fuel pressure gauge or tester so I don't know if I may have to much or not enough fuel pressure.

I can't convert back to the stock fuel pump because of the modifications required by the Air Dog to the fuel sending unit so I am stuck with it. I have to change my fuel filter every 300 miles but can't get a response from anyone on why that is. Got there money from me and seems to be the only concern.

Not sure if I have turbo issues or fuel issues.

 

Did you remove the stock lift pump? It sounds as of you are really over fueling your engine. You can check if your turbo is passing oil by removing the piping between it and the intercooler to check for oil in there. I wouldn't run it very much without knowing that my fuel pressure wasn't too high (over 15psi) or you will blow the seal out of the front of the pump and fill your crankcase full of diesel real quick. You're not the first person I've heard refer to airdogs customer service issues. Good luck Rocky
