OK got a list of new things i want to fox on this truck
First is speedo/ ODO both dont work, Any ideas what to check ?
Trans was rebuilt 30k ago according to P.O, But when i first drive it in mornings it lags going in to 5th if i let off the pedal it will shift, After it warms up shifts great.. Any ideas ???

 

Is this some rare 5 spd auto, or a get-rag 360 5 spd, or an A518 4 spd auto.

if it's an A518 which i believe it is it's the VSS.

 

There is not much to the VSS. IT is on the rear of the trans where a speedo cable would go. Check for a bad connection or wire.

 

yeah its your overdrive, and its 4th gear actually.
its your tps. Its located on your fuel pump that black thing.
Just wiggle it around it might cause it to work better. It did mine.
And if that doesnt work, you can replace your tps for a few hundo, or get or make a tps delete kit, dnr makes one. And really simple to install.

Ok speedo is working but 5 miles off, I didnt do anything just started working
Odom Is not working trip either, When trans switchs gears feels like its defueling, RPM goes down then it switchs and everything normal. It takes like 2 seconds but i can feel it
