Whats the right oil pressure. Mine usually sits 2 1/2 Lines above L

 

Mines about in the middle when cruising. a little lower at idle.

 

Don't trust the factory gauge. Get a real one and put it in. Should cost you around $65 or so with tax and shipping. But it'll tell you EXACTLY what your pressure is, rather than some vague wandering needle from the factory.

 

yeah, the truck has ran on the first needle for 20 years, either the bottom end is indestructible or dodge has a major engineering flaw... not that the 2nd option has ever happened before once the truck warms up it runs about 45-50 psi. Ever since i plumbed my centrifuge into a full pressure port my pressure has dropped slightly but some manufacturers engine lights dont come on until like 18 psi.

 

first gens are supposedrun at the lowest 20 to 25psi stock from the factory is what the manuel says mine runs between 45 and 60 usualy
