Don't trust the factory gauge.
Get a real one and put it in. Should cost you around $65 or so with tax and shipping. But it'll tell you EXACTLY what your pressure is, rather than some vague wandering needle from the factory.

yeah, the truck has ran on the first needle for 20 years, either the bottom end is indestructible or dodge has a major engineering flaw... not that the 2nd option has ever happened before
once the truck warms up it runs about 45-50 psi. Ever since i plumbed my centrifuge into a full pressure port my pressure has dropped slightly but some manufacturers engine lights dont come on until like 18 psi.
