what axles do i have
I no i have a dana 60 in the front but how could i tell what axle i have in the back or what is common on the four wheel drive, and also when i lock my manual hubs in shouldn't both tires spin?
The DANA 80 wasn't available till the '94 and up models.
60 up front, 70 out back (W250 & W350).
The front axle does not have a locker or limited slip differential, therefore, the wheels do not lock together when engaging the hubs.

Not quite, 4hi is just high range and 4lo is low. Nothing to do with how mant wheels in the front will pull. The only way to make both pull is with some sort of traction device, weatehr it be LS or a locker. From the factory none of our trucks came with front traction aids.
