My stock 91 radio lights work but screen is off and no sound. What is wrong?

Haha I think it means she's burnt out and I am going to get a new radio?

probably a loose ground check that first or its probably the radio

 

There's going to be two fuses for the radio. One is for the memory (and might be the same circuit as the interior light) and the other's switched with the key. The aftermarket radios I've used need both, the factory system might need both too. Check the fuses, then you might need to pull the radio. The factory ones I've seen have the wiring diagram on them so you can see what wires are supposed to be hot all the time (batt) and the one that's switched (acc) and even the one for the lights (ill)
