Default removal of badges on side and hood of truck

how do you remove the badges on the side that say w250 or power ram or whatever? just pry them off, an what about the dodge badge on the front of the hood? seems like they would just break. i would like to paint mine and just want to be able to remove and reuse them

I'm not shore about the one on the front . But the ones side have a plastic pin on the back that doesn't come off. I broke them off and used double sided tape to put em back on and they have stayed on for almost three years now.

Some trucks side badges had pins others were glued on. If it's glue just pry slowly to remove the badges then get a high quality glue remover that won't screw up your paint and take your time working in small patches but try not to use a razor blade unless you don't mind a bunch of scratches until it's painted.

This must be really dependent on year.

I just de-badged mine; the front "DODGE" had one metal stud in the center that had a bolt on the inside and two plastic christmas trees on the sides. The side badges were glued on... But there were holes under the adhesive pads.
