no blown fuses, rest of the cluster operates fine... thanks for the insult big bad, to think i didnt check the fuses ... as i run out to the truck hahahaha but last i checked the fuse block all of my fuses were in tact and my low fuel light hasnt worked for YEARS, used to work... quite often actually thats why i thought the bulb was burnt out. i bought my truck off my aunt and her daughters ran the thing around on fumes constantly. next time im tinkering with it i'll double check myself, if im wrong i'll break out my asshat and go for a stroll around the block is the fuse integrated with other circuits or on its own?

[QUOTE=crazy clem;729607... any body have any idea how much fuel is supposed to be in the tank? or is every truck different...[/QUOTE]
Yeah, every truck is different. Classic Dodge wiring FUBAR. The owners manual says the light should come on when there's a 5th left in the tank, (that's 20% BTW, not a 5th like your favourite sippin' beverage! ). So, 5 into 30 gives you 6, or 6 gallons when the light is supposed to come on.
My truck is pretty darned close to that, but I never trust it and go by the mileage rather than the light.
