Best milage can be had by minor AFC mods, BHAF intake, 4in exhaust, and driving style also some 90HP injectors seem to work wonders

if you got a 4x4 with that ford dont expect much those one ton 4x4's are dam heavy
my 2wd 90 dodge got 28 then I went to 22 with my 4x4 conversion and I had enough power to do what ever I wanted

for AFC tuning see the stickey or pm me its easy

Check the lift pump too.. if you are drawing it down to 0 psi it could be a restriction. The diaphram pumps are notorious for doing that. A LP piston pump is what Im looking at to replace my diaphram pump.

He's referring to the inducer side, (that's the front!) of the compressor wheel blades. By going to a bigger compressor wheel, it'll take a little longer to spool up, but as it's moving more air in theory it should make the engine run a little leaner, thus better mpg's.

Drive Slower
I get the best gas mileage right around 60 mph. With an easy foot, I can get 26 mpg and my vehicle is 4x4 and has wide tires. I also mix 2 cycle oil in the fuel.

i too have a 4x4 ford f-250 and i get 20 on 35's and no turbo at all... I'm running a 4" k&n filter like a gasser would...loud but kewl sounding.....also a good high flow exhaust will do ya wonders dont want the turbo to be breathing through a straw on either end....wide open is always best

I was working for peterbilt at the time and one of the guys said that by adding atf to my fuel that it will increase the EGT's because of the detergents in the atf...... i also added some 10/40 on a long trip i had to use Ol' #2 fuel ..... it increases the fuel lube and increases the compression due to the thickness of the fuel giving the fuel a higher burn temp...... giving more bang and more lube.... = better fuel ecomomy..... my exp with it.... i have taken same trip with and with out oil in fuel ..... 1.2 mpg less.... with out anything 2.9 mpg less...... think i have the right combo for my idi.... no turbo so watch your pyro with any additives my friend..peace
