Default Two questions

1. Im getting stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso around July/August. My wife and I will be living on post, and I'm wondering if there are any shops near by? Looking for some diesel heads to hang out with. I'm just a native Texan gettin to come back to the lone star state and need to make some friends!

2. Im planning a HP build for my truck. I want mild but streetable HP, and I'm having trouble deciding on a turbo setup...any ideas/ suggestions?

Kinda depends on what your HP goals are. An HX35 with a 60mm compressor wheel is good for, what... 350-ish? Well, 300 at least. An S300 would be a sweet single charger, and I believe they have a 4" turbine outlet. The HE351CW/VGT is also a proven performer, although you'll need some trickery to manipulate the vanes. Also a 4" outlet.
Then there's the myriad twins combinations....

Ive been leaning towards an S300. The HX35 isnt far enough from the stock H1C for the money, even a used one from a friend. The VGT can be done, my buddy and i did it on his 96 using a boat throttle cable as the vane control ... Twins are a bit of overkill for my HP goals right now. Im looking to make anywhere from 350-380 at the wheels. I want to pull about 40lbs of boost and 700 degrees at 1800rpms.
