Taking out or adjusting the idle screw out wont screw anything up right? you can only wrap it up as hight as the governer allows, so what exactly is the benifit I cant grasp the concept.

I just did it to mine last night noticably more throttle and more top end speed. But now my fss has stopped working truck wont shut off have to manually shut off fuel looking for a pull cable now just like a tractor.

the concept basically is that it stretches your power band out allowing you to more efficiantly utilize rpm's and gear selection... it really has more of a positive affect for like towing vehicles...

do you put the vise grips on the threaded end? or do you have to remove that cap?? i have tried removing that cap and its a b----!

you need to remove the cap to loosen the jam nut. i is hard to get it off but i just started pulling and cutting with some side cuts. hope you can get it. good luck

got it off today, thanks for all the help
truck has the stock rpm spring in it and a lot of pump mods.. so this helped quite a bit..
most noticeable thing to me though was wayyy more smoke at take off if i really get on it right before the turbo kicks in (automatic) ... that normal???

Its normal. No worries bud. More throttle before spooling= smoke. 32k spring will take care of that smoke though.
