what would cause my cummins to stop pulling try to stall out and blow white smoke on a cold cold kansas morning

Sounds like fuel supply to the injection pump. Have winter fuel in, or any additive? Maybe a lift pump issue? Hard to say at this point. A fuel pressure reading would be good to know.

No fuel obviously, I'd have to agree with RA.
