Your sure that # 6 is not getting fuel? If not your next step is the pump. Im not a pump guy so i couldnt tell you if one cylinder will fail or not. Im not super experienced in VE pump stuff.

Sounds like that may be the next thing in order. Valve lash check? Pulled the valve cover?

Ok let's go back to High School auto shop class.

The 4 Strokes of a Engine
Intake
Compression
Power
Exhaust

If an engine is not running something is wrong with atleast one of these 4 strokes. Through elimination we can try to find which stroke is messed up.

Since it's getting fuel and I doubt something is wrong with the exhaust, something is either wrong with intake or compression. Something like a blown head gasket or a messed up intake valve. So if you check the compression in that cylinder that should give you your answer as to which stroke is messed up. Then through a little bit more checking you will be able to figure out what's actually wrong with the engine.

Is it possible that its getting fuel to that injector but not enough to pop it open. Like having a piece of the shutoff solenoid in a delivery valve.
