Default I think I have a fueling problem?

Ok so I'm in the middle of my motor swap I made my fuel lines I'm gonna make some type of fast fuel system so I started with half inch lines from the tank but was gonna wait on the fast fuel stuff till a later time but I made a draw straw cause also like I said I was in the middle of a motor swap but anyways I have half inch lines to my lift pump for the min but when I was pumping my stock lift pump by hand it wasn't bringing up the fuel so I started the truck and it ran for a few seconds then what was left in the injection pump ran out but it started bringing up the fuel so I cracked my lines till there was fuel closed them up the started the truck again took a little bit to get her started and I run the truck for about 3 or 4 min shut her off and she wouldn't start back up I have clear fuel lines and I can see the fuel but it seemed like I kept having air right befor the lift pump but not at the tank and all lines are tight what do u all think I'm doing wrong here or what should I be doing that I'm not doing????

Did you put in a new lift pump? I did when I did my conv. and the new pump had a diff. thread port than the stock pump and I put a hairline crack in the housing when I put in the old fitting and it sucked enough air to do what yours is doin, and it never leaked fuel. Best of luck, I know how frustrating this sh@t can be!

I also changed my liftpump awhile back and I guess I over torqued my fuel line and cracked my liftpump also and didnt know it but it did do basically the same thing.I got a different pump and it fixed my problem.
