Tach Sensor 3 Wires What is What????
So I hear all over u can't use a normal gasser tach so I wanted to know if any one knows what each of the 3 wires are so can anyone help with the question ??????

These Dakota Digital universal diesel alternator tachometer interface units will accept a signal from the W terminal found on some diesel alternators and convert the signal into a tachometer signal for a 4 or 8-cylinder standard ignition system tachometer. These units are adjustable to allow for the different numbers on the alternator, as well as for different pulley sizes on the engine and alternator. Calibration should be done using a light tach or another known reference for speed.
