WOW.. A Turbo working and cleaning out. Making power and boost, efectively putting the power to the ground. I know rollin coal is kind of cool. but lets make them roll for ever. This is very easy to do. Slow down to make POWER.
Kind of. Peak torque comes on earlier in the rpm range than peak HP. Peak HP has a direct relationship to RPM. Have a look at some dyno sheets if you get the chance. Torque gets you moving, but HP gives you speed.
If you don't have smoke on a first gen, you're not fueling enough. I know stock first gen turbo's; they're not going to move enough air to clean up crap. I also know first gen injection systems; they're not going to atomize fuel efficiently enough to make good power without smoke.
