Well I aint scared to do this, I want to do this so that I will know this for future reference! Lol and I do not let anyone work on my truck except me and my dad, I just wanna know what specialty tools I need to have to do thisn

a small pick, 2 long flat blade screw drivers, a press, misc. snap ring pliers, a depth gauge, and a set of calipers

Before you rip it out you might want to check your tranny mounts. I've heard of loose mounts making for seriously tough shifting action.

Probably not your issue, but worth checking before you pull it.

They use 15/16 wrench.
