Hey guys i may be going to look at a 93 350 here in the next day or so. My question is are there any important things that i should pay extra attention to concering a 1st gen.

 

look for mods. look at the top of the pump see if the cap is missing. if it is then thers a good chance someone has done some mods. when i got mine a old man had it. he was a painter so u can imagine what it looked like. the intioreor was just like new. had a couple of paint spots but thats it. he dident treat the motor bad. he drove it like a old man would . so i gess look at the person u get it from not just the truck.

 

Check for leaking rear main seal and check the frame for cracks around the steering box take a good long test drive then start checking for leaks

 

ask if the injection pump has ben rebuilt to its supose to be rebuilt at 150k but mine lasted 300k
