Default wont run wortha crap

have a 92 w250 just had the pump rebuilt at pensicola diesel put it in and its doing the same not running worth a **** have it floored and it barely wants to run at idle....NEED HELP

give us some more info. will the truck idle by itself. do you have any gauges.

have you checked your shut down solenoid, there is a chance that it could be opening but not all of the way. and its the actual solenoid on the pump not the one on the firewall

wont run on its own have to keep it floored to even run and when it does fire up it sounds like crap and no gauges

i bet its your shut down solenoid they normally dont replace those when they rebuild a pump. pull it out and gut it put a shown cable on it and be done. or there is a link in the sticky you can get it for 10 bucks. check to make sure you have good 12 volts to the solenoid first though

I think he meant shut down cable, It's basically a choke cable you attach to your manual shut off lever to pull from inside the cab when you want to shut the truck off.

I'm not real sure i bought mine with a pull cable. check the sticky
