From what i understand there is a plunger inside the shut off solenoid that shuts the truck off when voltage to the solenoid stops. i would think that by removing the solenoid and then pulling the plunger, then replace the solenoid. that would be a way to test. Again i dont really have any experence with this so dont quote me

Haha you will have that sometimes did you at least get the solenoid out?

Phone the shop that rebuilt the pump. The may help you out.

Try searching keywords of you problem.

id call them and grip.... they have a poor reputation of quality parts.
