my 92 Dodge is still givin me trouble...The problem comes and goes truck is an automatic some times when ya put it in gear it pulls the rpms down to 550 rpms even turnin up the idle doesnt help.So far I have replaced the inj pump ,injectors, set pump timing from stock to all the way against the head. new lift pump clear hose to bypass the filter adjusted valve even checked for broken vave springs and checked valve lift with a dial indicator @ zero lash also checked with manometer checked comp on (cold motorO 310 across the board)any other thoughts

Sounds like a possible dragging convertor.
Is it more responsive at lower rpms when it does it?

Mark.

I have the same thought if this were a manual I prolly wouldn't be here the only thing that bothers me is the intermitten action i would think the converter would just quit unless the converter valve in the valve body is stickin? and you were right about the ve pumps not real hard to disassemble I bought another one just to try and elimanate it as a factor. And as before thank you for your time in this. you fellas have a very informitive site here .
