Default Quick Question

Does it matter how you put the harmonic balancer on? Took ot off to fix my killer dowel pin but never marked how it came off. I put it back on and torqued it to spec. I doubt it matters, but I just don't want my motor falling apart .

It should't matter, but I'm not 100% sure. It's not keyed and I believe it's neutral balance. I did put punch marks on mine though when I took it off, just to be sure

Ya I would assume that it would be keyed if it destroyed your engine if it wasnt on right. Have the tac sensor gapped to .050 and it hasnt hit the sensor and the truck doesnt shake. Well no more than it did before anyway.

that's pretty much what i was going to say... no keyway, mine doesnt shake after i put it on randomly and when i gapped the sensor it didnt hit anything so i ran it.
