crack in head?

Default crack in head?

there is cracks in my 89 head by the valves were the injectors come threw should i use this head or find a new one?

Yours and every other Cummins head on the planet.

It'll probably be a problem after another few hundred thousand miles.

depends how deep/wide they are.cummins has these pics in their manual.

Your fine unless you can see through them. The non-I/Ced heads (like yours) do it worse due to the larger injector holes.

it is SERIOUSLY nothing to worry about, the crack show up VERY early in life and do no harm...
