There's a local guy that just did a 4wd/Cummins conversion on a '78 longbed.
According to him, converting it to 4wd was actually easier than getting the dash and HVAC parts from a Cummins truck to work.
All I know is I helped him through the ordeal with alot of the parts, as well as some technical stuff on the Cummins conversion, and it DID seem like it was a PITA.
Worse, he did it with an automatic, which has given him nothing but fits since.
1 thing that stands out the most was the hassle to switch from the '70s-'80s style fuel tank, to the 30 gallon later style.
Mark.

Too bad you have to sell it bcmopar. You did a fantastic job of putting it together. If I had 8k I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It's trucks like these that show how wrong Dodge were to not build a 4-door diesel.

but other things have to come before toys
