Default Can someone tell me whats wrong with this thing

I have a 93 w350 with cummins. Having problems with it and not sure what the problem is. I can try to start it but it wont start without a quick spray of ether. I can have it run all day and shut it off then instantly try to starting it again and nothing. Once again ether and she will pop off. It seems like it is underpowered when she is running. Any advice or help would be greatfull. Dont let me thing I made a mistake by getting rid of my powerstroke please. Tried new fuel filter, Oil change and bleeding the fuel line for air. (return line)

What is you fuel pressure while cranking? Could be a weak transfer pump, and the either bumps the RPM's up just enough to supply enough pressure. Check valve could be stuck open allowing fuel to bleed off.

Smokey at all? Could be timing.

Will it start cold without the ether? My old pump was going bad....it would start cold but once warmed up (pump was hot) it wouldn't start. Turns out the head and rotor were worn and heat would make the tolerances too big. That's my 2 cents worth....

It wont start cold or when it is warm. Ether has to be used every time i start it. Not reall sure by what you mean the Head and rotor on a cummins motor. Please explain more and give ideas of where it is on the motor. thanks 93 dodge W350cummins

I'm going with a air leak in the fuel line.
