also , set them in the morning when the engine is cold.

I've read that the "Paint" on the outside of the seal is actually a sealer to seal it to the cover, and that if the seal dosn't have it to use a product such as sleeve retainer to seal it, I think I read it in my Haynes Manual

there very simple to do on the 12vs i can do mine in aboyt 20 minutes never adjusted valves before i started doing them on the truck a few years ago
