Default I need a radiator!!!

I need a radiator, my non-IC'd CTD has the 2row now thats bad. I CAN NOT find one ANYWHERE!! I've called allover creation and nothings avalible, the've been backordered for over a year EVERYWHERE. What are my options? What fits where? Can I run an intercooled 3 or 4 row? will it fit? I've heard they won't because their too fat being a 3 or 4 row. I can have it re-cored but it's about 5-6 bills, WTF!!! Pisses me off I can't find one.

Thanks
Billy D

I think your out of luck on finding a new one anytime soon, i had mine re cored for $375 wich was $200 less than a new one, and the new one was, like you siad, backordered forever. Why wouldnt a IC rad fit? if you have some fabrication skills i think it would work, unless the AC condenser is in the way. Good luck

The I/C rad technically "will" fit but its definently not just a bolt on, they have a different way of mounting, theres no flange on the sides to bolt it up, they just kind of drop in to the right rad support(i dont know how theyre actually held down, because mine doesnt have the right support!)

I had the same problem when mine **** the bed on me, best option i could find for a proper one was $750+ and a 2 week wait. NAPA had the intercooled one in stock, 200 bucks cheaper, so i took it home(err... to the parking lot my truck was leaking all over) and made it work. If I could do it all over again, i would have just bought a 4 core for a gas truck and called it a day, i don't reccomend doing it like i did if you have the oppertunity to do it another way(unless you have the time to fit it up), its pretty grosse.

I'd post pictures to show you what i mean, but i dont know how for 1, and for 2, you guys would probably shun me for being such a hack!

my 93 had a bad leak, went to advanced and the questions he asked "inter cooled, or non"

they had both in-stock, not sure if there is a difference or why he would even ask me if it was IC, OR NON IC. I do know that my 93 was just a drop on, no bolts to connect to anything.

paid 250.00

a non intercooled radiator is wider than an intercooled radiator due to having to fit between the intercooler hoses. and the intercooled radiator is thicker as well. i think it has another core in it. i got an intercooled radiator if you want it
