They are good and work, I know of no TPS's for that price. I assume you have tried adjusting it?

dumb question... Have you done anything to adjust the throtle lever throw? I have buddy that has a truck doing the same thing. Come to find out when his lever was reindexed to get full throttle it goes past what the TPS can read and pulls it out of adjustment everytime he goes full throttle.

And yes DNR makes a nice set-up.

adjust the tps for voltage
remove tps from the bracket
turn upside down
there is a bolt in the bottom of the tps
this bolt engages the throttle lever
adjust this bolt + or - to get the correct voltage required
this should resolve the shifting problem if the tps is still in good order

I used my factory scan tool and reset the minimum/origin of the TPS sensor. it still read fine, but shifted out of OD at all speeds. I think it may have been an intermittent glitch so i ordered a DNR potentiomiter. fixed it right away and very simple to install. i drilled a hole next to my headlight switch for the ****.
