Default Smoke srew

The other day i was tinkering with the smoke screw and I had been reading that 2 turns clockwise would give me more power and more smoke. So i went 2 turns, tested it and nothing different than before. Then i went 3 turns and I still dont see any more power or any smoke gains. Can some help me out?

try messing with the afc more instead of the smoke screw. you may have to turn it more turns than that. i think mine is like 15 full turns backed out as far as it can get to minimize my smoke. i dont see any power gains from the smoke screw though. the afc will help deliver you more fuel prior to boost which will make smoke if thats what your after

smoke screw helps spool the turbo. its a little smoky going around corners though with the nv4500
