So lately my oil pressure gauge has started to wonder. Only when i give it more petal at idol the gauge shows right in the middle but if i'm getting on the high way or pulling. It drops drastically i am not sure if it's an electrical problem because my temp gauge wonders also. I check my oil at least once a week and it has not moved sense the oil change. Please help.

Hopefully its electrical, but I saw recently a 1st Gen with the oil pump split in half-but still intact, fluctuating pressure, big time, enough to wipe the turbo out.

Dowel pin that fell out 2 years ago was still rattlein around and got between the gears.

 

I hope this is not the case i know this truck has not had the fix for the dowel pin. But i've been watching the oil level and i know how one sounds that not getting the right oil thru it. This would be real bad cause i'm running twins. I'm going to buy an after market cluster tmro for it just to be sure it is not loosing pressure.
