Default Converting auto from 4x4 to 2wd

I am picking up a 92 engine with trans and transfer case to drop it in my F250, and while I really want a 5speed nobody seems to want to part with them.
What exactly would I need to convert this trans to a 2wd? I plan on rebuilding it and doing any mods I can to make it a bit more durable. Is it just a matter of tailhousing, governor, output shaft, and yoke? Or is there more to it?

i assume this is an overdrive trans so it would prob require almost complete disasembly of the od unit. u could possibly find a good 4x2 od unit that u could just bolt on.

tail shaft and tail shaft housing and yoke. the governor is the same the shaft and housing should cost you about $100 at a transmission shop or they may just trade you I have seen a lot of broken 4X4 tail shaft housing that are broken. ken
