Clocking the transfer case...?
Has anyone clocked an NP205 t-case on the back of a Getrag? With all my lift I was wondering if I could clock the transfer case down a little bit to get a more comfortable driveline angle on the front driveshaft...and maybe open up a little room for a 5" exhaust. Anyone have any suggestions?
not sure about that i personaly have never had a big enough lift that i needed to clock my t case but i am sure advancedadapters makes a kit for it to be done i have seen it on ther site under np 205 and i have seen it done on some show trucks
Yeah, I just checked that too. I think I'm going to inspect the flanges on the adaptor between the Getrag and the 205 and see if maybe there is a way to drill new holes to clock it.
Not the preferred method, I'm sure, but it's worth looking at while I have the tranny and t-case out to put a rebuilt tranny top on it and a new clutch in.
