gauges
Its just a valve before your sensor that you can close almost all the way. It takes the pulse of the pump away because the flow is restricted some. I used a 1/4 turn valve from a hardware store. I ended up not needing it with my set up but a pulse bounce is common.
I have a mechanical Isspro with an isolator and mine does not either. I guess some act differently. Mine did not pulse bad with either the stock lift pump or the low pressure lift. I can see a little pulse but very minor.
I had a new autometer electric gauge and ran it for a year without a snubber and one day it started jump around and eventually quit working all together. Maybe just dumb luck, but I never run without one now after that $200 purchase down the drain. After that I have gotten three sets of gauges off the forum classifieds for around the same amount.
