gauges
Just picked up/ordered some for my truck.. finally
guess I can find out how turning all these screws and things has effected the motor. EGT 200-1600 boost 0-60 fuel 0-15 silver face stewart warner.. should match the truck well, just need to convert them from white/red/green to a blue backlight and i'm good. that is all |
:jump::jump::jump: Sweet, dude. Driving/tuning by gauges is cool.
|
i have had mine in for a week and oh ya i understand why everyone tells you to put your gauges in before you mess with the engine upgrades with just the few things i did last year without gauges and now i can see what i have 28 pds of boost and 1500 degrees at wot makes me glad i installed gauges before going any further:w2:

true.
only have the pyro so far, rest will show up in a few days.. but WOT and wound out on the highway it peaked about 1150.. might go down a bit with a bigger air filter idk.. be interesting to see what my screaming H1C is pushing. |
I put my gauges in and while the hood was open I could not help myself from turning up some stuff. I went for a ride and mashed the throttle. I saw 1500 degrees and I had a bad pucker attack.:moon:

If you find the right guy and the right price the pyro gauge isnt that badly expensive :U:
