Default 1st gen chassis splice

anyone out there ever splice on a new rear chassis....?????? I'm looking to do from the start of the bed just under the end of the ext cab where its all remarkably still good steel but from the bed back...I think one of the previous owners used it for salting so its probably only got a year or 2 left ...I had to change the rear leaf hangers on both sides this fall already and the tank straps are letting go.....The front is still very solid.. night and day to the rear ...and I did a ton of front end work and steering mods to tighten her up the ..5.9 12v was rebuilt @ 137k and it now has 155kthe body's still sharp///// new 32's on factory rims off a 96 W/ 2" SPACERS so she is now a keeper .....So anyone's got a 1st gen 93 w250 ext cab with a good rear frame give me a shout .....if you got one im coming .... ILL DRIVE TO IOWA ,ILLINOIS ,KANSAS , . DURING hunting season...THE TRUCKS CHASSIS CAN HANDLE 1 MORE GOOD ROAD TRIPP

Frame work is easy. just make sure you measure, measure again and again. then repeat the process. i spliced a bel air frame to the sup frame of a camero in high school. well is somethin along those lines. if i can do it you can do it.

as long as you are good at fab work and welding verticle and overhead it will be OK...............its actually a fun job, I would weld the frame then fish plate inside and out if possible
