To those who doubt the rag...

Take a guess as to what mr KTA is running in his 650hp 1st gen, drag racing and all.... I'll give you a hint, its not a nv4500.

Nothing wrong with the 4500, but if nothing is wrong with your getrag no point in swaping. IMO

 

my buddy told me a guy told him if you put good high quality bearings in the getrag and upgrade the 5th gear nut, then it will last and is just as strong as a 4500

 

getrags dont even use a 5th gear nut. thats the nv4500 problem

 

If you over fill it by a qt and dont lug it (which will kill a 4500 also) it will last just as long as long as it is not already hurt.

 

well that just what i was told, ive never been in a getrag or a 4500
