Pump swap

Default Pump swap

I have a 92 3500 and want to know if i can take a pump off of like a 94 or 97 and put it on ther bc i have a pump that goes to like a 94. Can anyone help me thank you.

yes you can but you need a new front timing cover, new injection lines, and a couple other things as well

2nd gen injectors, a number 10 fuel plate, 14mm barrels and plungers, 5000 rpm gov springs wait thats what i wand in a second gen....but you will need second gen injectors to do the swap

So timing cover injector lines and injectors.

i believe you also need a throttle mounting bracket and i know there is a couple other things i just dont know exactly what they are right now. if its an automatic tranny youll have problems shifting as well due to the tps

the real question is if we should still let you hang out with us?I drive an 85 prospector so im technically not a 1st gen,but i do have a rotary pump.

Ebay. Here in UT there is a full motor for like 500. The motor is "hydro locked" all the parts and pieces to swap it over for someone lookin to do this on theirs. If I had the money to do it I would. ha ha. Damn tax returns never come fast enough!

i know what you mean... by the time i get my tax return back it will be april.
