wouldnt it take more power to run the a/c compressor than gained with the cold air?

Ford built a lightning a few years back that had some sort of AC cooled intercooler or something. I don't know if it actually went to production or not. I think it added like 50 hp for 20 -30 seconds.Cooling 5 psi on a gasser is probably easier than 50 on a diesel.

 

That is my thoughts also...

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. The only thing that can happen to energy... is that it can change form...

 

I have to say its a cool idea but wont work.
