good idea or just plain stupid?

I would just hate to see him mess up the A/C system on his truck, ever see a filter get sucked down under a hard run? You think that the A/C and Heat ducts are made to work under that much vacuum? I dont...

the way we have it rigged is just through the unit under the passanger side. i think it would just suck air outta the cab before it messed the fan up.

I would refute it with thermodynamics, but some smartass might doubley-refute it with even more thermodynamics, and I hate thermodynamics.


So I'll just go ahead and say "No, it is never going to give you any sort of benefit". In large part due to thermodynamics, unless you find a gigantic loophole due to massive efficiency increases from the cooler air (ie. intercooling). Which you won't.

I tend to agree with the above: Possible harm done, and by the way its going to get warm in the cab in the summer, and freezing in the winter

A man oughta try it at least once just so the next time hes drinking he wont have that same problem again when hes drunk can move onto something different
