Okay, so they make a legit locker for the Dana 61, that's cool!
Hooooooowever, I'm cheap, so I'd prefer the Lock-rite. I've installed several of these in Jeep Dana 35's and a few Dana 44's and they work pretty trick. I don't know if I'm convinced that the Dana 60 version will work in the carrier I have, but I'm going to pull the spiders when I get ready to put in the 4.10's and match them to a set out of a Dana 60 so see if everything is the same. If so, then I'll order up a Lock-rite and give it a try.
Thanks for all the info guys!

My 74 Dodge offroad truck has a pair of dana 60's both with detroit lockers.I drive it on the street and in bad weather when locked in it is a handful to drive. But off road its totally worth it! On a dual purpose truck I would look into a selectible locker like an ARB.

The front locker was the best thing that I have ever done to my off road truck. But it has broken one outer axle shaft while rock crawling. The day I installed the locker we took it to my favorite mud hole and broke both lock out hubs. I guess it's time for 35 spline outer's and drive flanges.
