The guy in the shop started it, made all sorts of noise from what he said. I bet it was hanging on by a thread and that finished it off!

you ever tried to turn over one of these motors by hand? takes more than a thread to turn one of these high compression beasts over.....

IDK, its crazy but Im glad thats all it was. That cost me more than enough money. Only problem Ive got now is my 4wd Engaged light is on and I've shifted the Tcase through all the gears but the light doesnt go off. Anybody got any ideas? I need to get somebody else to drive it while I look and see what the front driveshaft is doin

The sencor is probably not in right. If I remeber right it is a switch on teh Transfer case not in the lever
