Make sure you fill out your signiture, so we know what mods youve done to your truck. What all have you done to the pump?

I turned the fuel pin 90 degrees and turned the star wheel about 1 1/2 turns no more smoke or fuel seems like the thing is starving for air.

So rotating your fuel pin and turning the star wheel is all you've done to modify your truck from stock form?

make sure that the cone has the "deepest setting" facing forward, rotating it 90* doesnt mean it's instantly at the profile for the most fuel; and which way did you turn the starwheel? if you turned it right (running it down) it'll decrease the time it takes for the truck to come into fuel, if you turn it left (runningit out) it adds spring tension and causes fueling to be delayed until more boost is seen. if too much spring tension is present then it'll be a dog; if too much fuel is present it'll be a dog... gotta "tune it".

dieselnoise, you really have to let us know what you have done to the truck in order for us to help out. Go to your profile and find "edit your signiture" and fill that baby out. As far as your pump goes, are those the only things you've done? Since you say it ran better in stock form.

Yeah I moved the fuel pin back to original position, that is the only thing that I have messed with.I seen no performance change from what I had done.Do I need to turn the star wheel more in the down position than before for more fuel or will to much mess something up?
