my fan on my truck rubs my hood a little bit. anyone know the thread size on this fan where it bolts up i want to get a little smaller fan. and even better anyone know what kinda car i can take on off of to make it work? id like one about 3 inches smaller in diameter or so

oh ya just to add i want to keep a manual fan not an electric

 

trim it down with a grinder dude........................just keep that in mind when towing that it wont cool for crap

 

i wouldent mess with it if you f it up there expensive and hard to find

 

ya i dont want to trim it down and ruin it thats why i want to get one from a junkyard thats a little smaller. i have to trim it though it hits my hood when i close it all the way i have no choice but to get a smaller one.

 

is it a stock fan?
if so i will buy it for mine has a high speed wobble

 

ya its a stock fan. you can buy it when i get it all off. its in pretty good shape

95 chevy truck 93 cummins. problem is alot of the fans look to be about 5 inches wide i dont have that much room. and i dont wanna pay several hundred dollars for a slim profile electric fan
