So what are you going to do with it? You still going 47RH or you just going to fix this one? Haven't been on here in a while to read up on anything.

can you get a billet output for it? I'm really suprised the T-Case didnt let go before the trans did.

As of right now no... My tranny guy is good buddies with a company that makes 300M outputs for 2wd 727 drag trannys. They are interested in making one for me to see if its something they would like to get into...

Very cool keep us posted. How did the rest of the trans look? Was there allot of wear on the clutches and band?

Builder said the rest looked like it had never been ran. Not even any metal shavings of parts in the pan like you would usually see with broken hard parts.

cool 727 Transmission

I have built litterally hundreds of 727 transmissions and they are one of the most simple of automatics next to the 904 model. They are pretty strong stock but you can build them extremely stout if you know what to do. And it can be done relatively cheap as far as parts go. If I can assist you in any way just give me a shout.

Thanks for the offer. I have a good friend that builds drag trannys and it at his shop now.

You don't know anyone who sells aftermarket hardened outputs for a 4wd HD 727 do you?

Check with JW performance transmissions in Fl. I know they have a web site but I don't have it at the moment. I will try to get that link for you. I have not had to buy from them in a while. They offer some killer high performance parts. If you are pulling with this truck make sure to use the blue clutch plates. Very expensive but well worth it.
