Dont we have similar transmissions? Ive done 30+ PSI boosted launches and never hurt the transmission with stock shafts .

No, I have a 727. I've done ALOT of boosted launches... Like ALOT... just wore it out over time I guess.

Never seen a 30psi boosted launch before. I bet that was a ride!

no they aren't similar, 47RE and TF727 are 2 different animals

that is like comparing a Chevy 700R4 and a 200-4R , both are overdrive tranny's but one is WAY stronger than the other.....

my 727 in non-OD

Its a strong tranny, real strong, just not strong enough...
It was a stock input...

No 2wd , stock shafts , i did it with my old turbo and Fratelli Bosio Injectors , really wasnt a big deal just power brake it till the boost gauge pegs and let off the brake

Oh so your tires were spinning... I can get mine up to 50 just power braking and burning off tires. I broke this in 4hi coming up on teh convertor to take off like drag racing. Try that a few times...

ok Mr. Technical, comparing a ford C-3 (late 70's early 80 technology) transmission and a Ford 4R70W (late 90's 2000's technology), overdrive lockup converter tranny..... GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I would but i would probably break my input shaft
