i imagine so; guessing by your name the truck is a 92'... and i also assume (since you dont have your sig filled out) that you've been tweakin the pump... i've read that the intercooled engines have problems with the shut off solenoid when pump mods have been done... atleast until a larger set of injectors are installed. most guys take the solenoid out; remove the plunger and re-install the solenoid then use the manual shot off on the side of the pump from then on.

The rubber tip on the plunger is a lot more likely to shred off than get stuck in the "up" position, especially on a turned-up truck, especially when that truck is an intercooled truck with stock injectors.

Until you replace der ELAB use der shut off lever on the side of der pump.

It's the lever on the side of the pump that turns off the truck when you pull on it. You can run it to a pull cable to shut the truck off without the key.
