So you know that little steel washer that sits IN the plastic washer under the throttle assembly? It's removed during the VE spring install...anyway...what size is it??? Is this something I can replace at a hardware store or is it a specific cummins part? I ask because I had to remove it tonight in the driveway as part of a fuel line install (don't ask) and it went falling to the fifth dimension. In the off chance (I hope) that I can't find it tomorrow I'd like to get another so my pump shaft won't leak. Anyone??? I'm not a happy camper at the moment. Hopefully a little coffee and sunlight will locate it tomorrow....

 

it wont leak w/o that spacer... an o-ring seal it; not that... how ever, i would still tyr to find it or replace it... if it wasnt there for a reason... it wouldnt be there; good luck
