does anyone know where I can get the neccesary adapter plate so i can get the 47rh in?

Your best bet is check the classifieds and ebay for someone parting out a truck. It will be cheaper then buying a new one.

You mean for teh engine to the tranny? Pull the plate off the truck you got the the tranny from. Otherwise the junk yard or ebay
